Hello readers!
First thing first, I would like to tell you readers about my first impression towards Taylor’s Lakeside Campus. My first impression towards lakeside campus was impressive. At first I thought it was going to be great studying in such a HUGE college.
We have all officially moved to the Lakeside Campus on 26th of April, obviously this year. One word to describe the college is awesome. On the first day in Lakeside Campus, I woke up earlier than usual because I was worried that the traffic would be very jam. So I left my house around six forty five in the morning. The traffic was jam as usual at the Summit area and it got worse when I reach to a turning to the campus.
Once after I got rid of the jam, I drove to the parking lots and it was all packed. I was so terrified because I might be late for class due to the time which was already 745. There were no spaces at all that I have to drive to a further parking lot to look for parking space. I finally found a parking space at I HAVE NO IDEA HOW FAR IT WAS after a few minutes. Once I entered the campus, I was stoned because I have no idea where was my class located at. Luckily I met Patricia in front of the Student Life Centre and both of us went to ask some seniors where our class located at. The seniors were kind enough to lead us to our class and obviously we were late. Not to forget the elevators in Lakeside Campus were all so packed. We waited for so long to be our turn to enter the elevator. Moreover, the lift stopped at every level. Finally I reached my class but it was so late that I could even see my lecturer was waiting for the students. By the time we entered our class, I saw most of them have not enter the class too. I was relieved when our lecturer did not blame us for entering class late, probably because he knew that the traffic outside was horrible.
When we were in class, I heard a lot of complains from few students about the traffics and parking spaces. My very first good impression towards this campus already gone. Luckily, what made me love this campus was the view that I can see from my class. It kept me awake when the scenery is nice.
Around eight forty five, most of them finally reached the class. Some were lost in the campus, some were stucked in the jam while some couldn't find a parking. So our class began as usual and they were only a few people came in when class had already started. I think I will have get use to the new environment in the Lakeside Campus, the jams, the parking spaces, and the surrounding smell.
Alright! Please stay tune for the photos of the campus and I’ll share more about the food and the facilities in the campus.
